Last Saturday saw us hold our Charity Auction where it was standing room only.  A magnificent sum of over £1,000 – exact figure will not be out for a while – for our Charitable Trust. Welcome to our New President

Cheque for Life Saving Equipment

Last week we handed over a cheque for £1,500 to Sharon Alexander, the CEO of Community Voluntary Services Tendring, to enable the purchase of Defibrillator to be placed outside the CVST Offices in Rosemary Road, Clacton on Sea.  There should be funds to contribute to the cost of the electrical work required too.  Lion President

November Update

We have had a very successful November starting our annual Dinner and Dance to celebrate our 38th Anniversary where both our current President and last year’s President were awarded Melvyn Jones Fellowships for their exceptional service to our local communities. Another Busy Weekend

The work started on Friday when our President, Lion Peter, and our Welfare Chairman, Lion Andrew delivered a car load of items to the Foodbank in Harwich.  Then on Friday evening, we ran a Quiz Night for the local branch of Parkinson’s UK and raised £536.80. the winning team were “Bright Sparks”.
