There are no activities this weekend for our Club – although some of us will be getting together for a lovely Cream Tea at our President’s on Sunday – so it seem a good time to point out that it is only 7 weeks now to our Massive Charity Auction. This is being held on
Last Saturday, we had a fund-raising stall at the Great Bentley Village Show on the Village Green, the largest village green in England. Despite a heavy rain shower we raised an excellent £174.70. Now we move on to some indoor fun but not before we enjoy a Cream Tea in our President’s Garden next Sunday.

Last Night’s Annual Nostalgia Quiz was won by regular team “The Flying Piglets” who donated the £100 donation for charity to “Epilepsy Action Tendring”. Lions funds benefited by over £400 and now we look forward to the “Centennial Celebration Quiz” on Friday 23rd June at St. James’s Church Hall. Book early to avoid disappointment –
